Avila is a city in Spain located in the autonomous community of Castile and León, with a population of around 60,000 people.

This city is one of the highest provincial capital in Spain at 1132 meters (more than 3700 feet) above sea level, it has spectacular and complete medieval city walls and the birthplace of one of the most important Catholic saints.

With a length of 50 meters long and 110 meters wide, this iconic beach in Cartagena, also has an excellent waterfront offering a relaxed and safe swimming area most of the time. Although the sand is somewhat darker than the other beaches in the area, it does not lower the quality.
Cartagena is pedestrian friendly. It's ideal for self-guided touring. Tourist sites are concentrated in a relatively small area. You can visit most sites by walking 7170 feet, 1.36 miles, round trip from the main (north) dock.
