Marbella Design Academy

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be joining the Cosentino Graduate Designia program this November! This marks the beginning of an exciting adventure, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity. Last week, I had the incredible experience of travelling to Madrid, where I connected with an amazing group of fellow Designia colleagues. Meeting such talented individuals and being immersed in Cosentino’s innovative culture was truly inspiring! I wanted to thank my university and professors, Caterina Sposato and Gianluca Emmi, who introduced me to the world of Cosentino. Without them, this wouldn’t have been possible!

I really liked the Graphic Design programme. The briefs are not strict, and you can really do what you want do, and orient them to what you want to do in the future. I like illustration and I could include it in all my projects somehow, and practice on that. It was really nice to have the freedom to do so. My fear, when I entered the school was that I didn´t know any software, but we learnt After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Glyphs for typeface… so many that I didn´t think I could learn [them all ] in such a short time. I am super grateful for that. You don´t need to have any previous knowledge about them before you come here.

I came to Marbella Design Academy not knowing how to sew, not knowing what a pattern was and had never opened a single Adobe program in my life. After studying Fashion Design & Development for three years I have grown into the path of fashion design that I want to pursue because of my own willpower. I am extremely proud of my classmates and I for getting to the finish line although this pandemic has made things challenging in many ways. My fashion teachers and best friend supported me throughout this year both academically and emotionally and I now leave Spain as a young professional and with friends for life. It’s amazing what you can achieve and do if you put your mind to it!
