Spain’s marketing atmosphere is ideal for those looking to enter the related job field as well, and cities like Madrid or Barcelona are hubs for marketing. Choosing the right university can be difficult, so this article will also discuss some of the best universities in Spain for marketing.

Why Study in Spain

Spain is one of the top destinations for international students looking to study abroad, and that is not without reason. Spain has both expansive coastlines and towering mountains, and its accessible public transportation and convenient location within Europe makes it so easy to travel both around Spain and all around the many other countries nearby. The cost of living is very cheap in Spain compared to many other popular countries, and the way of life is ideal for those looking to make the most out of their experience.

Beyond the logistics, Spain is also popular for its vibrant, welcoming culture, historic architecture, and endless adventure. Visitors can enjoy any of the many delicious restaurants to experience the local cuisine, make plans to visit some of the most famous destinations or museums in Spain, and make the most out of the bustling nightlife. Weather in Spain is just as fairytale-like as its atmosphere, with sunshine being the norm. Due to the gorgeous, towering architecture, even the walk to class or an internship can feel like a dream.

When it comes to marketing, Spain truly has it all. The marketing industry in Spain is constantly evolving and growing to mold with the times, and the amount of jobs within marketing are abounding. Big cities like Madrid or Barcelona are especially fitting for those interested in Spain’s marketing atmosphere. Marketing schools in Spain are prestigious, and are a surefire way for students to get a job post-grad. Overall, the experience of studying abroad in Spain is not one to be missed, especially for students interested in marketing.

How To Study Marketing in Spain

For those looking to attend one of the many marketing schools in Spain, the process of finding the right school, submitting applications, and obtaining a visa can seem daunting and can take up to around a year or more. Students must be aware of this and make sure to plan ahead and start the visa application process well in advance. Another important factor to be considered is that having a basic level of Spanish or more is a requirement at marketing schools in Spain. This is because classes are mostly held in Spanish, with some classes here and there being held in English or are a hybrid of the two languages. There is also a mandatory entrance exam that students must take and pass, called selectividad or Pruebas de Acceso a la Universidad. It’s not so different from the SAT or ACT in the United States.  Students must also be prepared to submit past transcripts and current legal identification. With the visa that must be obtained, the mandatory entrance exam, and the research and application process for universities, studying marketing in Spain is a process that must be planned out. However, studying abroad in Spain is worth any and all work that must be put into getting there.
